Spring 2024 Little Kickers Program 

Key Information:

• Ages are 3-5 Years Old (Birth years 2019-2021 - must be at least 3 years old by April 17th)
• Summer Registration will be coming soon and we will have restricted enrollment based upon the number of parent coaches that volunteer.
• The program fills up quickly so register early in enrollment cycle.
• Program participation is capped at 100 players (further parent volunteer participation may increase cap)
• Please consider volunteering as a coach - practice plans provided and no prior experience is required!

A free community based program for 3-5 year olds designed to provide an interactive fun setting for children to explore early motor, emotional and mental skills that are utilized in soccer. The focus is on one child with one ball not team play.

Time/Place:  The Spring 2024 sessions will be on Field 5 (behind the playground) at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex (100 S Wuthering Hills Dr, Janesville, WI 53546) on dates and times below.

• Little Kickers will run on Wednesdays
• Date and times:

1. April 17th - 5:30p-6:30p
2. April 24th - 5:30p-6:30p
3. May 1st - 5:30p-6:30p
4. May 8th - 5:30p-6:30p
5. May 15th - 5:30p-6:30p
6. May 22nd - 5:30p-6:30p

• Each session runs 5:30pm - 6:30pm (check in at 5:30 and sessions start at 5:45pm)

Come Prepared: Please bring a size 3 soccer ball. Write your last name and phone number on the ball! Have your child in athletic shoes or cleats. Shin guards can be worn for older players. Please bring water bottles – getting water is a key activity at this age!

General Practice Times:

5:30-5:45 pm     Players arrive, have fun, and play with ball/parent. Parents, please get a name-tag each practice and write name of player and put on player’s shirt.

5:45 pm          Players and Parents head to area designated by Age and meet Lead Coach for day. Warm up.

5:50 - 6:25 pm    Four to five activities with water breaks.

6:25 - 6:30 pm     All players come together in age group for closing RSC cheer.

Parents: We have a core group of coaches who coordinate the nightly activities but we need parent involvement as well. There is a lot of kids in these sessions. The more parent volunteers, the better. Have fun, participate and help your RSC Coaches.

The goal of this program is for everyone to have fun, players and parents alike. Take photos and videos and post them on our Facebook page! They should be priceless! We do ask that every parent or guardian be responsible for their player.

Weather Cancellations: An Club Direct Email (via the registration system Demosphere) will be sent by 3:30 if practice will be canceled.

Player participation: You do not need to email us if you can’t come a certain day.

Dogs: We are sorry but city rules do not allow dogs on the soccer fields.
